Well, I've just returned from Berchestgarten in Bavarian Alps in Germany and I have to say it was absolutely marvellous. The scenery was fantastic, right out of a travel guide and the people were friendly. Of course there was also lots of apfelstrudel to eat as well......
It was a little strange not logging on and chatting to anyone here though and it made me realise how special this place is to me and certain people in particular are very dear to me (you know who you are) and I did miss our chats.
I was intending to buy one of those Bavarian serving girl costumes too but they were simply too expensive to justify, after all, you couldn't exactly wear it to your local supermarket. Pity really, I think I would have looked good in one. Oh well, you can't have everything. Not yet anyway. lol
