  I decided a few months ago to start growing my hair in order that I can get rid of my wig. I don't mind my wig, on the contrary, I really love it but I want to grow my own to that length and then I can just do what I want with it. However good a wig is, it is no substitute for your own hair. I'm lucky in that I have a good hair growth so it won't be a problem.

  I have taken a few pictures of it recently as it is long enough to wear femme but I'm not comfortable with it yet, I guess because I have a picture in my head of where I am going with it. Still, I think it looks okay.

  It needs a good amount of work though as it needs straightening so more cost in straightners and heat protection sprays etc, but it is worth it and the  GHD's are worth their weight in gold!!
