Things are moving at least.

Well, the trip to the UK was almost a waste of time. I thought they were going to operate on my eye but instead it was another consultation, exactly the same tests as before only this time at the eye hospital in Bristol and with a bunch of medical students sitting in. And me, looking pretty femme, lol.

They still haven't given me a date but it should be in two or three months I'm told.

In the meantime, I checked in with a private surgery I have been considering to have some FFS, specifically my nose. They were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. They were a little suprised when I told them I was transgendered but checked with the surgeons that this wouldn't be an issue and I'm happy to say it wasn't.

I'm not concerned that they don't have huge experience on TS girls since I showed them some examples of what I was looking for and they advised what would and wouldn't work, so fingers crossed. Of course, this is going to cost me but it will be worth every cent. I'm getting referred to more and more as a woman even when I am in drab and not made up so a new nose will certainly go a long way to helping me look more femme, and more comfortable with myself too, which is more important I guess.

I have another appointment in april with the surgeon and then it is just a matter of fixing a date, (probably August), to have the op.

    The countdown begins.

    Nikki x
