I had an impromtu day off work last Thursday since I had my ID checked, (cue much discussion between gate guard and guard commander), they then wanted to see an additional piece of ID so I showed them my driving licence, (cue much more discussion between the aforementioned people), before they came back to say, 'I'm sorry Ma'am but I don't believe that this is yours, I'm afraid we can't let you in!"
So, even when confronted with my old persona they refuse to believe it's mine. Which is a good thing, plus I got a day off which my boss was fine about and blamed the military so it's not coming out of my leave entitlement.
Still, this is getting a bit silly now, the sooner all my ID's are changed, the better.
I think it's also time to persuade my other half that a name change is required now as well. I'll let you know how that goes.
