Bassist wanted!!!

  How frustrating! The gig season is upon us and we have had a number of offers come our way so far but have had to decline a lot of them as our bassist just isn't up to scratch. Actually, he's rubbish and shows no sign of improvement so has got to go as he's holding us all back at them moment. Not to mention loss of revenue from gigs and just the whole fun out of playing!

  The downside is that this isn't exactly musician central and finding bassists and drummers is like finding gold! All the good ones are in at least two bands already and those that are free are, well, there's a reason they're available as we have learnt to our cost.

  When he started with us we thought, 'well, he will get better', how wrong were we! Well, that's bands for you sometimes, you just have to deal with it and keep plugging on.

  Okay, whinge over. At least in the meantime myself and the singer are getting some good recording sessions in. That is at least giving us the opportuntity to do more and stretch ourselves a little.
