So, what's new in my life, not much really. The biggest thing is that I have gotten back into mountaineering again, which I stopped for a few years when the children were still babies. I have several expeditions going on this year including some ice climbing in January (straight up the face of a frozen waterfall) which will be fantastic.

Also, I have Dani and Carren coming for a visit soon so with any luck the weather will be nice and I can show them around a little. They have put me up on several occasions so it's nice to be able to return the favour.

Oh yes, and I pick up my new bike today! It has actually been ready since Tuesday but since we have had lots of rain showers I have put off collecting it. I couldn't bear the thought of my nice new shiny bike getting so filthy on it's first trip out. Besides, I've been busy with guitar students so I couldn't have given it a proper run anyway.
