As well as playing in a band myself, I also teach guitar, bass and drums to young people, and so I was very proud to be able to arrange to get three of my students to play the supporting band at a Christmas gig we did. They used our singer but are now actively looking for their own since they had a great time after the initial nerves. It was even arranged that a reporter from the local paper would do an artical on them. Fantastic. Their parents were very pleased with them as well and rightly so.

Needless to say that they have been well and truly bitten by the 'playing live' bug and can't wait to get out again.

We played a great gig ourselves afterwards and I think after our performance, their parents saw a different (and slightly mental) side of me!, lol
