I cannot get that damn song out of my head.  More on that in a moment.

An interesting weekend. We spent a lot of time together on Friday. After my psychologist appointment I drove her out to this other suburban town where she had to attend a short meeting. Then we had a very nice lunch, and from that point I dropped her off at the train so she could go to the hairdresser.  Yesterday we did our third PreCana. If you want to get married in the Catholic Church you have to attend this sort-of workshop. We run the one-day workshop on Saturdays, and do it about once or twice a year. It went very well, although at times I did have to - VERY politely - ask some people to be quiet. She doesn't have the loudest voice (except when pissed off at me), whereas I'm used to speaking in big rooms and no microphone.  She was cranky when we got home, so I figured "so much for the day."

I was wrong.  She was just tired at the moment.  We watched "Love Actually."  Actually, (bad pun intended) it was quite good, even though one or two of the stories could have been cut, and, not to sound like a prude (because I AM NOT!), I thought some of the nudity wasn't necessary. I could actually tolerate Hugh Grant for a change. That's where that damn song comes in.  In one of the stories they were doing a "new" version of it in the film and now the original is stuck in that black hole I call my brain.  But, when we went to bed, something happened that hadn't happened in months, so let's just say I'm happy and relaxed this morning.

Still fretting over where I'm going to come up with some money, and quick. I need something now. Since this is Sunday the want ads will be full, so hopefully something will be there.

So girls, sorry I haven't been around much this weekend. Was kinda busy. We also have about 15 bagels left over from yesterday, so feel free to come by and grab one!
