Tired but content

Oh, what a day yesterday.  I had my morning class, then home to prepare for my 4-hour night class at that newest school - you remember, the one I've been bitching about?  The class is "Introduction to Popular American Culture," and what a great class it was last night!!!  One of the best "first" nights I ever had!  They think I'm insane, too (I say that a lot don't I?  Hmmmm....must be true). So I'm dead tired today since yesterday was an almost 18 hour day, which will continue for the next 4 weeks.  It taught me a little lesson about being grumpy since it looks like that new place is pretty cool.  Once again I jumped to conclusions.  One of our topics, by the way, will be gender roles and identity.  If only Meredith could make an appearance!

That check I was waiting for came through.  That means we can finally get this program going to preserve what we have. I'm running around like a maniac, and I love every moment of it.  It's nice to have some money coming back in to start to pay off these debts that I caused due to my underemployment.

Nena, to answer your question - OF COURSE YOU GET AN AUTOGRAPHED COPY!!!!!!  Right now the target publication date is 2005, so it might be a little while!

A QUESTION TO MY EUROPEAN GIRLFRIENDS: One of the comments made in the readings for my class was as to why people in the UK like American shows such as "The Simpsons."  I know Mariette loves "Buffy."  My first response is BECAUSE THEY LIKE THESE SHOWS YOU IDIOTS!!!!  But, girls, if you like these shows and have a special reason why could you please tell me?  It would come in handy.

You all write me such beautiful messages and comments.  Thank you.  I don't want you to go another day without knowing how I feel about you all.  You are lifesavers.
