Oh dear. What a day. I dropped off my wife at the airport and did pretty good with the goodbye. Then I had the opportunity to pick up some cute satin bikinis on my way to campus. I'll wear one to my morning class tomorrow. The pink pair I had on today is actually falling apart.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a teacher sometimes? I get some of the hottest women in those classes. Today this VERY CUTE blond came in wearing a VERY short red summer skirt. Then she wanted to talk to me after class. It took every ounce of strength to keep from staring at her legs, so I just kept my eyes on hers (which happen to be very pretty eyes, too). It is SOOOOOOOOO difficult to scope out these girls while maintaining whatever level of professionalism I have, which day by day is slipping! I almost asked her where she bought her skirt!
My main school is already asking me about next semester. No full time work there yet. They wanted to know if I would be up to doing my course on the history of Asia. I jumped right at the chance. A lot of students have been asking me if I was going to do a non-U.S./Western history course, and just as I was going to ask the department they asked me first. Cool!
I guess not much to report today. Maybe I should have kept my big mouth shut!
