That latest school of mine is on this rolling schedule of intensive 5-week terms. My first one ended two weeks ago, and the next one starts tonight. So that means I won't be getting any sleep for over twelve hours from right now. The one good thing about today is my main school is off this week, so I will be able to rest a little before tonight's marathon session. But, next week, oh dear, look out! I'll be a zombie again.
I've been back to some minor boughts of insomnia due to my stress. I'm hoping that at this time next year I'll be full-time tenure track at some other school. My "main" school will probably never have anything while I'm there. They thought they were going to almost two years ago but the school president killed it due to budget reasons. The department chair was embarrassed and called me at home on a Saturday to tell me. This would have been my second full-time PERMANENT year (I will full-time but temporary a few years back). I can't cry over that. I've got to look further.
Anyway, ladies, not much to say right now. But I am able to dress up today! So that is a definite plus! You'd think I wouldn't be wearing a miniskirt since the weather is so cool, yet I can't! I love my minis!
