Since I don't think I'll be back around until Monday (I hope not!) here's my weekend wishes for you.
Today should be interesting. Tomorrow is a full day. Breakfast with Santa, then something at my kid's school, then friends of mine are having an open house.
I was getting mad at this school of mine (the one I always bitched about before). I haven't received my latest paycheck, then that stupid "mentor" wrote a crappy evaluation. Don't get me wrong - If there is something I can improve upon I need to know. But he referred to me by a wrong name, said someday I'll be a fine teacher (F' YOU!!!!!! I AM THE BEST!!!!!) and that my classroom attire is not recommended. I should have showed up as Meredith! In the classroom I wear a nice shirt or sweater, no tie (God forbid!), good pants, and my gym shoes. He criticized me for being "tradtional," something this particular school doesn't like (I said all this before). I responded to him saying that if he doesn't want me to teach "traditional," whatever the hell that is, then don't expect me to dress that way. The school took my side, by the way, and they're trying to track down my check.
And a new school wants to talk to me next week! So losing that all-girls college won't be so bad because I have something to take its place.
So this weekend I'm trying to look forward to life.
