I haven't done much here at TW the past few days. JJ noticed this some time back, and, of course, it's been said to me around the house. My emotions tend to be one of two - extremely happy or down and out. I'm actually both right now.
A terrible little row yesterday and all the ground I've gained the past two weeks seem to have been lost for the moment. I just couldn't bring myself to join in the morning shouts and jumps.
But I'm moving forward with my work. I spoke to the one publisher today about the pictorial history. The Acquisitions Editor suggested being more broad (no pun intended!) with my topic and I had to agree. It doesn't mean extra work, just more fun! I'm also FINALLY signing the contract for my first book. I sent it originally to three publishers. One finally told me today they weren't going to use it. No big deal, it's already been accepted by someone else. The funny thing is their reasons why - they contradicted themselves and didn't follow proper protocal. So I'm better off where I'm at with the first publisher.
I don't know why I posted this. No real reason to have said anything. Sorry.
