Howdy, all.......some interesting days lately.
As I wrote in a forum piece, I came out to my youngest sister as being Meredith. She was totally cool and supportive about it. I come from a large family, 6 kids, although there are only five of us left as my eldest sister died two years ago. But part of this is my need to be more honest as to who I am.
I called Anna-Maria flat THREE times on Saturday to talk to everyone at the party. Unfortunately, I was not home alone and kept getting interrupted. I was speaking with Chris when my wife showed up demanding that I help do a few things as my kid was having a playdate (sorry Chris!). I finally spoke with Kendra, Clair, and Suzy. And, once again, when Fay was on the line I didn't want to say a word and just listen to her voice! I hope you all had a great time.
Things are better for the moment. We had the night alone as my kid had yet another playdate, this one an overnight visit. We watched "Seabiscuit," which was pretty good. Then, yesterday was the Daytona 500 and my favorite racer Jeff Gordon won it! YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!
But then I had another bad night and barely slept. To top it off, my right front tire blew on me while I was driving to school. I was able to get off of the highway and get some assistance. Needless to say, I wound up canceled classes and heading home. Not fun!
