The other day Tiina posted a blog about a TW member and her spouse having an argument. That person was me. I have not been on good terms with my sister-in-law for months. Whenever she called, and I picked up, she was rude to me, barking an order for me to get my wife. I told my wife I didn't like that, and she said "Then don't pick up when she calls." Guess what? She called on Saturday when they were all out, and I was grilling, and I didn't pick it up. I literally got chewed out for following that rule! I got yelled at in front of my mother-in-law, too! I guess I'm supposed to know the good rules from the bad. Hell, a Cray computer can't keep up with all these rules changes. I guess I should be used to the fact that I don't do anything right. So I'm looking at the fact that I just might have to finally leave my home. For now I'm being "allowed" to stay because of the impact it would have on my daughter.
However, I am considering applying for a teaching job in China. They're begging for people, and from what I saw, the pay is pretty good. It's not permanent. They have assignments running from 3 months to one year. I just might go for it and see what happens. TW member Jennifer Lee is out there.
No, I've not been myself for a while. I better get some work, and immediately. I'm doing what I can, and trying to take care of my kid. I'm trying to come up with some plans. The one good thing is I have a new class starting next week, but I won't see any of that money for a little bit. And other than those publication projects, not much is coming up.
