Hi girls,
My DSL was cut because I have not been able to pay my phone bill. They get funny like that. Thankfully I have my cell. I get online whenever I can. I am on campus now and am openly accessing TW here in the faculty room. Let 'em think what they want.
Financial woes are starting to continue again, so I'm having to do without a lot. But, having already been through hell and beyond, I will get through this.
Me and Gloria made peace last week. I'm glad. I hate fighting.
FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF "CAN WE BE MORE STUPID?"
More museum stuff:
Last Thursday I was stuck on the Zephyr on another VERY cold day. The train is right by the parking garage so cold air permeates the area. I was working with Jim, an elderly gentleman who really should retire, although he is an excellent Interpreter.
Some dope comes up to us, puts his hands about chest-high, and says "Have you seen a single woman about this tall?" Wow. What a detailed description. Jim swiftly replied "Yeah, and she asked me what I'm doing tonight." If you could have seen the look on this guy's face.......
We get this sort of thing all the time. "Have you seen some kids around here?" Oh, about 500 or so (literally!).
We're still as perverted as ever in the department. I have been labeled as sick and twisted. I also think they're really getting suspicious.
Got to get back to class preparation.
