I'm just here for a moment. I am on campus using the computers there since my laptop is acting up again. It seems like everytime I get ahead something puts me right back.
Last week I was in a really bad mood, and I was loving every minute of it. Then what does the museum go and do? I get my evaluation that day, and it was stellar. I didn't expect such a review since I haven't been there all that long, but they really like me. I was also ineligible for a raise because I was hired after the cut-off date, but the department managed one for me anyhow.
On Friday I had a phone interview with a local academy. This would be a full time spot with a school. If I get it I will stay at the museum, but on a seasonal basis. No need to fully sever those ties. If I get the job I will definitely move to that town, which is not far away at all. I would like to be close to my job. I have to move regardless since, although they sent me a renewal lease, they raised the rent a considerable amount.
