Dropping hints

As I mentioned in a Forum thread, I make comments on-board the U-505 about wearing heels.  When working the CSI exhibit, and running the fingerprinting table, one of the activities we do is to show how to bring out latent prints.  In our case we have the visitors rub the back of their heads to obtain some of their body oil on their fingers before pressing down on the card (at which point we then use metal filings to bring out, and lift, the print).  I say "If any of you are wearing make-up, like I am, definitely rub the back of your head and not the side of your nose."  They think it's funny.

Around my department I drop hints left and right.  I'm preparing them for the BIG DAY.  In October, after the CSI forensic science exhibit leaves, we have "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination."  I'm scared to death.  Every 45 year old unmarried guy who lives in his mom's basement will be there in costume.

Our department will probably be working for that exhibit.  We put out names on a list to show interest in working on it, and if we already have a costume and could be in character (providing we will be allowed to do some due to legal concerns).  I made a comment that I could dress up as Princess Leia (or however it's spelled), and that I have the legs for it.  Sean, a large man, repeated what I said.  Someone misheard him and said "Sean wants to dress up as the princess because he has the legs for it?"  To which he shouted a very resounding "NO!"  It was pretty darn funny.

So, just getting them all ready.
