Management got notice 6 months ago about new robots. But did nothing with info in fact it seems to have gone over their heads. First it's a different logic altogether so we can't write it. The new logic did come it was sitting in a drawer up front since Jan. We were supposed to go back to school but were never sent. Finely it was programmed in Sweden. Yesterday morning when a crew arived to start setting up they weren't let in. They made a phone call & someone called back. They were let in fast. Some VIP drove in & fired every manager on the spot. This was such a major screw up it could have cost them tons of money. We would have never got it running.
They didnt read the emails because they thought they didn't need to. This whole thing is pre-set for us. Once it's in & running we take over after a 2 week training course. It will be on-line for full tech support if we need it. They say it's a lot easier than nachi.
The crew putting it up are all blond blue eyed Swedes. The girls in the front office all became instant fans. You never see them on the floor but they found a lot of reasons to be there yesterday.
