I guess Fri & Sat would be funny if if wasn't such a bitch. Lets start with Fri.
I started getting low on my med supplies. So I called Benson's the supplier on Thur. The lady I talked to said I could come in on Fri to pick them up. So Fri morning I went in & the girl at the counter told me my insurance wouldn't approve it because I allready had a months supply. It turns out the nurses from my home care went & got what I needed but didn't give them to me. So I left & called my nurse. She said she had some left but not much. Now I had made that call from the parking lot in front of Benson's. OK now I'm realy pissed finding out the nurse is holding back on my stuff. I drive out & I get a phone call from Benson's office telling me my order is ready. I told the lady that the girl at the counter said I had nothing coming. She said that was last month & she hasn't had the order sent down to them yet. Well I was in no mood to turn around so I said I'd get them the next morning.
SAT. I had gotten a new debit card & had to activate at an ATM before I could use it for shopping. So tha was my first stop. But I realised I didn't get a PIN number. I went into the bank & they set a temp number & told me how to change it at the ATM. I followed thier instructions & it took my card saying it was stolen. So I went back in the bank & it took close to 30min to get my card out of the ATM. Turned out it was never activated. So that took another 15min. I walked out to the ATM & it took my card again. I went back into the bank we got the card & when they checked it they only opened the number not the strip on the back. Finely got it to work.
Back to Benson's! My supplies were ready. Well half of what I needed was. All they gave me were gause & pads. No tape to hold the gause on & no saline to wet it. They said the doctor didn't include it. So I had to pay for it out of my own pocket untill I see the Doc again.
So as you can see I've had a fun weekend so far. I wonder what today holds. Wish I could just go back to bed untill tomorrow.
