As far as that big wound is concerned the muscel is grown back just have to let the skin cover it & it will be done. Not long now. When I first came home it was 17in tall & 14in wide. Now it's 8/6.
But I'm having trouble with my ostomy not staying on. I know the signs now so I can tell before it makes a mess. But I'm supposed to change it every 4 days & I have had to do it everyday. I can not figger it out. I've tried the seal ring, the paste, & mixing both together with the same result. Once I get this right I can get back to normal things. It's the only thing stopping me from being able to go out to eat in a restauante or to see a movie. I'm in fear of it coming off at a bad time. But I WILL get it & carry on with my life.
After writing the above I had to ask why am I doing this to myself. So I made some calls & I'm going to see an ostomy nurse. She'll make sure I have the right stuff & how to apply it.
