They did another round of layoffs Monday & it missed me but not by much. Today they said there will be more Friday as Fords is shutting down for a week. They are our best costumers now. It use to be GM but they've been down for over 2 months. We got word that they are starting back up next week.
Well thier order came in today but it's so small that we can fill it in 4hrs.
One thing in my favor is that I'm taking on more responsibilty. My job is Robot Tech but I've also learned to set dies & I can do my own QC work & get it right. Of the 5 of us that are supposed to be doing it only me & 1 other guy have taken the time to learn it. So when they hand out the slips tomorrow hopefully I won't be getting one.
