I was sick for so long that I ran up a large debt with my credit cards. And now because I took tax advice from my sister (a CPA) I owe the IRS.
In 2005 I was able to pay all my bills 6 months in advance before my surgery just to be safe. Than the operation went bad & I was out of work for most of the next 2 yrs.
Now I'm back working full time but I don't make enough money to cover my bills. I work at the same place bringing home better money. But it's still not enough.
I went to my bank to get a home equity loan to get out of trouble. They were so sure of this they had me bring in all my statements. Than today they called to sorry but not at this time.
I don't know what to do. I don't have enough money left over at the end of the week to eat.
