Had great fun yesterday dressing in different outfits and posing for pictures. One outfit was simply a pair of panyhose and a silk blouse. My wife remarked "slut"- I said I'm dressed but she said you're not wearing any pants. Discussion followed as to whether panyhose and a thong were pants. I took the picture anyway. She wasn't upset or bothered - she just enjoys critiqing my choice of clothing or what ever is covering my "bod" at the time. A recurring realization - Gracie is a lesbian. Not that I have any thought against lesbians - some of my best friends are lesbians. I find this very interesting. I have no idea where that train of thought is going. Should I pursue it or just let it take its natural course? I'm getting skinny, thin, slim or rather "snake" hips. I'll try to paste a picture here.Well that didn't work. I think I'll download them to TW pictures.

Got thru the XMAS holiday. I know the origin of the holiday is of a "spiritual" nature ie christian - but it seems to be a "secular" ie commercial holiday. What ever I had a good time - we cooked too much - we still have French onion soup left over - it will keep. We made creme brule but it never made it to the dinner table - hopefully that will keep- we'll have deserts for a week. In reading the forums - my daily activity - I was surprised by the reaction to the Pope's Christmas message - I didn't think anyone listened to it - I never did. I was brought up in a Catholic family and never even knew that there was a Christmas message. It would probably get the same reaction as anyone else's Christmas message - a big "so what?"  At present and for some time, I don't belong to any church - to me a church is the trappings of a religion and a religion has nothing to do with "spirituality." A religion is a political group which peddles its influence as much as it can. Good for them and anyone who feels that they speak for them. I have no argument with anyone who goes to church and reads the bible. If it makes them a better person - great. My relation with the Deity is my business and I try not to preach my beliefs to anyone else. I guess that's my Christmas message.

Well I tried to copy a photo of little old me onto this page but my computer isn't cooperating. OK let me describe it for you. I'm standing in front of the fireplace. I'm wearing a tan cordoroy jumper covering a maroon colored turtle neck blouse. I'm wearing sheer hose and brown heels. I have on silver jewelry - necklaces (3 chains), hoop earings - I'm also wearing a silver cuff on my right wrist and bangles on my left. Unfortunately, my hands are behind my back so you couldn't see them anyway. I've lost weight which make my feel great. Hah! You can't tell the weight loss wearing a jumper - but I feel great anyway. We went shopping yesterday, in Dallas. Much better selection than here. After taking care on the grand nieces and nephews - we found my wife a nice cashmere sweater. Maybe we should have gotten two of them. They were 100% cashmere priced at $100.00 each. To my surprise it was 50% off on top of that price. Golly gee - I missed out on that. But I got some footless panty hose - real wild - one has a harliquin diamond pattern of all colors(colours), the other is "nifty sixties" - peace signs and swirling colors. I'll enjoy wearing them with my new short boots. I call them short boots for the want of a better name - they're ankle high - like jodhpur or chukka boots. Naturally, I'll wear more than just hose and boots - he, he. It's too cold here to go au natural. They'll go well with either my black or red mini dress....or my mini skirt - anything to show off the legs.Merry ChristmashugsGracie

Thanks to Marsha I found out how to correct my deplorable situation. Now I can blog all over the place. Now to remember why I was blogging the other day. HmmmmActually, I was thinking about thinking - it was called Metacognition when I was doing my teacher training. I have no idea what it's called now. In education it seems that its alway "same old same old" but with different names.Well I was going to blog about how I don't think in straight lines - my brain jumps around. For example - I was getting out some vitamins and got to the Super B Complex bottle. My brain went to work creating a scenario about a hero bee - with super powers naturally- fighting the evil killer bees from his hidout- the Complex. It was like the old radio serials where you were given an update in case you missed the last episode. I was mumbling all this and my wife started to laugh. She said it took her a while to figure out what I was saying. She says I live in a fantasy world - I guess maybe I do -at times. But it's fun. What else is new - I'm still losing weight - I haven't been near a scale but I can feel it. My shoes are looser and I'm able to button my jeans without a struggle. I have to wear a belt on my jeans to keep them up - so I must be developing "snake" hips. I'm feeling the cold weather more - maybe that's age. Hope not. I notice that I'm mentioning age more - it really doesn't bother me -much. People in their 40s holding doors for me - that's much. The checkout in the mart asking if I wanted help to my car - that's much. Maybe I'm just sensitive but its not about my age; its about me being treated as if I'm leaving soon.

My bride and I have had two conversations during the past months. The first was about Gracie's persona becoming more female. My bride made that statement. Further on in that conversation I said that if I were female I'd probably be lesbian.- she agreed. The most recent conversation was that I associate more with women than men. In thinking about that I have always gotten along with women better than men. I've had women bosses and we had a good working relationship. So, I summize that my female persona has always been there. It gradually came to the visible surface over thirty years.  Very interesting.

Phil Rizuto, former catcher, former manager of baseball, is many times quoted for his "colorfull" language - some strange. He once said "It's deja vue again."Well that's about how I feel - broke my diet over the weekend- demon Irish whiskey "done me in." Here it is Wednesday and I have firm resolve to avoid drink this weekend. As I told my beloved wife "This is a hell of a time of year to be dieting." But the doctor said either I lose weight and bring the BP down or he' have to put me on meds. I don't like meds - I'm dependent on a CPAP machine to keep breathing during the night and I take meds to keep the shingles at bay. To me that's dependence and as  "super girl" I must be at my best. Got to save the universe...or whatever.  I could cheat - when I get my next appointment I could call in and get it moved to a later date - by then the holidays would be over and I can really work on losing weight - like starving - oops that won't work either. I love my own cooking.I read these threads in which a tranny bemoans why things are the way they are. Well, I guess I'm lucky - I know who I am - I'm a Tranny and a proud Tranny at that. Unfortunatly, a plump Tranny and I've got to lose weight. I'm trying- but as my dear sainted mother used to say "You're very trying." I don't think she meant that as encouragement.I'm glad I have this opportunity to vent. I'm bonding with Eddy from Absolutely Fabulous.bye from fat Gracie

I realize I have a weight problem - I can't seem to break below 190 lbs or 13.57 stone (for my British sisters).  I don't drink anymore or any less (very old joke :-). Since I'm an Army veteran, I go the the Veterans Affairs clinic for my bi-annual checkups. Today the doctor (they enjoy harrassing me) said my blood pressure is too high - either I lose weight (35 lbs/2.5 stone) or I must go on medication. I hate medication so he gave me a dietHere it is -1. MUST EAT 3 MEALS EVERY DAY2. EAT A PIECE OF FRESH FRUIT 40 MINUTES BEFORE EACH MEAL3. DRINK 5 -20 OZ. GLASSES OF FLUIDS -CONTAINING ZERO CALORIES i.e.WATER, NON SWEET TEA OR PURE FRUIT DRINKS4. LAST MEAL OF THE DAY 3.5 HOURS BEFORE BEDTIME5. EAT FRESH FRUIT OR FRESH VEGETABLES FOR SNACKS6. EXERCISE 3 OR 4 TIMES PER WEEK - ELEVATE HEART RATE FOR 45 MINUTESNO HAMBERGERS, NO FRIED FOODS, NO FAST FOODS, NO CREAMY DRESSING ON SALADS AND NO CHEESEAGAIN FRESH FRUIT ONLYSTEAM FRESH VEGIES, BAKE OR GRILL CHICKEN, FISH AND LEAN MEATS.KEEP A LOGHave fun.I start with our evening meal.  Should be interesting; maybe I'll get to wear size 16 yet. I hope, I hope.  He didn't mention drinking alcohol - not that I'm a lush but I'll restrict it till the weekend.

Realizing that any member can read my blog is frightening . True I can read everyone's blog too. But still...it's sort of like reading someone's diary. Got to change my thinking from diary to journal. That's good - a journal - will my thinking change over time? Will my journal show that I've progressed? I think it will -time will tell. (I think Time has a big mouth)Something clicked in my brain yesterday which I like to mention (in my journal). Unfortunately, this doesn't fit into any forum so I'll put it here.  It is my thinking that when an individual becomes a public figure (elected to government office) then that person loses all semblance of a private life. I know that sounds rather strange. Yes they can have a private life but when? Here in the US we keep hearing of executive privilage, private papers etc. How can someone who is elected to serve the people have privilages that are not public? It doesn't sound right to me. In business if you are working for a corporation or company and you develope a new process, formula, design or whatever. That new something doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the company. You're being paid by the company so what you do on company time belongs to the company.Back to the elected official - since their job is not a 9 to 5 job any writing or other activity is within the Public Domain and belongs to the public. Nixon's or Johnson's tapes didn't belong to them -they were public property. I don't like the idea of the need for the Public Information Act. Anything the government produces is the property of the people -the public. This idea of "national security" appears as misuse of power. There have been many instances where it's been proved to be a hiding place for examples of stupidity. That's enough "journaling" for today.
