I guess Its about time I updated my blog, as there is an awful lot going on at the moment, with lots coming up in the near future too.
Right now I’m a week away from redundancy, which I have sort of engineered for my own advantage.
It started off with a plan to relocate to Bedford, so that E-J and I could spend more time together like a proper couple. Its very hard for both of us being so far apart, and having to spend 3 weeks in 9 in Hungary is no joke either.
There are other factors too, like the time I spend out of the country, working with a heavy binge drinker who has the memory span of a goldfish, and mood swings like you wouldn’t believe!!!!! But all in all, its about wanting to spend more time with E-J, so that we can be more like a couple in a proper relationship.
Don’t get me wrong, its scary!! Very scary, because I don’t yet have a job to go to, and the economy is soooo far down the toilet, I may not find one any time soon. I know it sounds like madness, but we both really, really want this to happen, so I have engineered an exit strategy that will pay me a reasonable sum that should last a good few months. Being redundancy, it should also qualify me to get a few benefits to help spread the sum over a longer period of time too, so I have something like a year to find a new job. Who knows, we might even start a business together!
So here I am, one week away from unemployment and two away from relocating to Bedford.
