After hunting around (for a whole 5 minutes) The film is called 'Mascara' and starred Charlotte Rampling.

I'm trying to remember a film. It was a TG crime thriller set in either Belgium or France. I believe the production was a co-production between Englend and France (or Belgium).

The mystery was set in a nightclub that was on a pier, on the coastline and involved the chief of police.

Does anyone remember the film, and if so, what it's called.

p.s. I remember the film from many years ago, it doesn't mean it was any good - memory can play strange tricks...
