I went to my local post office yesterday and got a leaflet about a service called "local collect" in the UK, and it basically is for internet shopping and ordering via the phone. What the service does is allows the sender of your parcels to send the parcels to your local post office and they will hold it for you free of charge. You can also use it as a return address i think so if you get something mailed to home but arent at home, the parcels will goto the local post office and they will sign and hold onto it for you.

Most of you girls most probably already know of the service but i never knew (granted i dont know much ) so others might not know and it beats having to send parcels to friends houses etc, plus my local post office is a 2 min walk down the road so thats pretty cool
