stuffed green figs

    Green figs,  carefully gut a small cross in the top of each fig, gently push your index finger down the center of the fig, fill the hole with stilton cheese, close up deep fry in batter only until the batter is done.  Serve with pickled cabbage walnuts and pork medalions with roasted pears.
